Weddings on Main Street Was Worth the Wait!

file0001599381655The count down for Weddings on Main Street release has come and gone. I’m excited for the ladies who’ve spent so much time putting this new boxed set together.

The stories inside this collection are fabulous! There’s something for everyone’s taste.

The brides’ to be have poured out their hearts and made their decisions. Now it’s time to sit back and follow them through stories that will make you laugh, cry, think and perhaps identify with one or more of the tales.

Make yourself a nice cup of something hot, kick off your shoes and plan reading this wonderful book. I know I’m loving every story.

file0001222433999I couldn’t resist adding the photo of this beautiful little girl. Don’t you wonder what’s going through her head? I’m willing to say she is already contemplating her own wedding.

About Carol

Carol falls in love with every character she writes in her books. She loves basing them on the good and the bad personalities that make up life. That's what makes them real. Carol feels as though she’s in a movie when visualizing characters and she jumps right onto the page with them. Often the theme of her books is forgiveness. Whether planned or not, forgiveness sneaks its way into her stories. That's okay, because Carol believes forgiving others is essential. She favors a great story, with slices of twists that cause her to reflect on the problems life throws at us and how we react. Carol believes in happy endings. Humor is a big part of her stories and daily routine, and yes, she laughs a lot! Travel is one of her favorite things to do. She dabbles in art, always has popcorn and hot chocolate on hand. Carol is a small-town girl at heart and her stories are peppered with a dose of humor, based on Southern roots. She currently resides in Georgia with her husband and family.

I think every wedding makes us think of our own weddings or ones we’ve attended. I was married in a lovely dress, it just wasn’t the traditional wedding gown. But I can remember looking out my mother’s windows at the Atlantic Ocean that lapped our property. I wonder what goes through other brides’ minds as they await their vows. I know I had so many mixed emotions, yet I was certain that I was making the right decision.

Just as each bride faces a wedding with different thoughts, the Authors of Main Street have put their unique stamp on their stories. Each is so different and the wedding theme is approached from various angles. And as a reviewer said on Amazon “There is not a “dud” in the bunch.”

No matter which Authors of Main Street participate in a boxed set, readers are assured of a quality read with a wide range of voices and styles. And what better way is there to sample so many different authors? Surely readers will find not one but multiple favorite authors in the bunch!

      E. when you and George married, I have no doubt you two were soul mates. The love you and your mate shared, is a dream few find. But, it’s possible…so very possible. You’re right. Each story within the set is lovely and well written.

Thanks, Leigh. I’m always happy to help my fellow authors! I’m looking forward to the next set, which will be as exciting as the first two.
