Judge a Book by its Cover!

We’ve been teasing you with snippets from our newest Christmas stories last month and decided that we might as well go ahead and show off our cover.

Is it fair to judge a book by its cover? Yes! Gone are the days of plain covers. Some authors pour their heart and souls into writing and then stand on their heads to make certain every comma is found and typo eliminated. Then they do their very best to have a top-notch cover. It’s called quality! It shows!

The Authors of Main Street have poured our hearts into our books and had them edited multiple times. So we figured we put quality into it, we wanted a quality cover. I found stock that I loved that fit with the look that readers expect from us. It’s like those special presents that you get every year from a  relative who always manages to find you exactly what you will love. And anyone who has ever wrapped a book as a gift knows it’s virtually impossible to disguise it. Of, you can hide in a box and pad it with fluff as though you are trying to hide the fact that you’re giving a book. But we had no desire to do that. We wanted this gift from us to be special.

Unfortunately my limited skills with Photoshop don’t always match my visions. I took my problem to a local writer by the name of Henry Bright. This wonderful man is a graphic designer who just happens to write. His psychological thrillers will send chills down your spine. But so far he’s only written because he loves to write and he’s never published anything. That will change! But he makes his living in graphic design. This was his first book cover and everyone who has seen it knows they want him to work on their next cover. He’s so talented!

As soon as he knew what we wanted, he went to work on it. What came back to me was amazing. He hit the nail on the head. He wrapped the books and then tied them all with a bright ribbon.  I think you’ll agree. It’s a beautiful cover, but the best part is that it’s filled with great stories.

This fabulous cover was made with stock from http://www.freepik.com  and was designed by Freepik and a fabulous artist by the name of Kristy Pargeter who has her designs at Freepik.

Henry Bright is enjoying this new foray into cover art, and if you’d like to have him contact you about a special cover, Please Use this Form:

So go right ahead and judge a book by its cover, because this boxed set is filled with heart-warming holiday stories that are family friendly. And we’ve wrapped it up just for you! But you won’t be able to open it until Nov 21, 2016. And it will also be available as a paperback book. Not some little paperback, it’s around 600 pages when all the stories are combined. It’s perfect for gift giving or for your keeper shelf of well loved books!
